It's funny to me to read that you and Zonder blame the US for Saddam 15 years ago, yet think that Halabja should be forgotten because it was 12 yrs ago. I have repeatedly condemned our support of Saddam, and my hero is Tony Blair and not Bush.

I have been following the Russian press' response to the war, and they have been enormously distorted. They seemed to get their information from the Iraqi information minister. Among the things they have said was the the US army were too cowardly to fight and would leave the task of war to missles and artillery. According to them, we have lost almost every battle.

However, they did report that they were impressed that the US didn't carpet bomb Iraq, and were precise and that Russians were asking why they failed in Chechnya even with carpet bombing of Grozny.

Do you think the world and Iraqis are safer without Saddam? That is hardly a small issue.
