This may be an example of me being over literal again but I really don't think there are other countries that make Saddam look like a choir boy. There are a lot of countries that are similarly bad in terms of human rights but I don't think you can be tremendously worse short of something like the killing fields in Cambodia or the Nazi death camps. And it would seem that to make Saddam look like a choir boy things would have to be tremendously worse.

In Africa, there are multiple rapes of children....both boys and girls. Boys and girls are taken as young as 10 or 11; the boys to fight in the army; the girls to be prostitutes. Another form of brutality, women are forced to have sex with men who have AIDS. The dictator of one country is homosexual and he has male prisoners of war brought to him regularly so he can rape them. I personally think this kind of stuff is the worst.

And then there are the usual tortures......use of electrical devices.......making them stand for hours in water with a low grade electrical current or sticking needles into their bodies like they're pin cushions. Beating them with baseball bats until they can't feel pain anymore. I think you get the picture.

BTW the Turks' prisons rank right up there with Saddam's. Its hard to believe Turkey is a democracy. What they do to the Kurds is unbelievable.
