I've run into that problem many times myself. Quite often the phrase or keyword you're unable to find was on the cached version of the url and not on the current page. Google also will find one of the words you looked for and not all of them. To look for a certain phrase you need to either use quotes around the phrase or force Google to include all search words by adding a + between each word.

When having troubles finding what I want I start over and search for a certain term and go to the bottom of the results page and search for another word within those results. I find that "drilling" down like that improves my results by eliminating pages only containing a couple of the terms I'm looking for. Hope this helps.
