Hi Tom, <<vacation>> ... is a possibility, although HK feels like a vacation right now. I have easy access to a nice beach, Jacuzzi, and steam shower. The view is great. My toys are all about me. The movie rental place is close by. The nearby restaurants are classy, less expensive than before, and no reservation required. I can sell mining shares options and construct straddles until I no longer can, to support the Chung Hom Kok Economy Message 18800755
I am mentally steeled to write off the whole year. I am concerned that we may have to write off five years, or gad, even forever ;0)
If and when judged necessary or prudent, we are prepared to decamp from HK.
In the meantime, my wife and I will join about twenty folks on a walking tour of the Happy Valley area of HK, to see historical buildings and explore nooks and crannies.
Feels like vacation, and therefore it must be a vacation:0)
