A few UK newspapers.

Any newspaper (or other media) owned by Rupert has to do he says. He believes he is Emperor of Britain and has decided the Euro is not for us (for example).

bbc.co.uk

The Sun:- Gutter press, used to be Tory now "New Labour",
The News of the World:- Gutter press."News of the Screws"
The Times Neutral.
The Sunday Times. Neutral.

The "Telegraph" [not "Times"] has by tradition always been Tory. For executives, Bankers, military establishment. Engineers usually buy telegraph for some reason.

There are others, but anything Tory in the UK is an endangered species. Tories are extinct in Scotland.

The Guardian (or the "grauninad" ... worse spelling then even me) is effete intellectual left wing. Excellent search facilities.

you do get surprises though at the "grauninad" (see date)

I like reading the Telegraph and the Guardian, sometimes the Times. Not that I am of either political leaning, I just like to know what they are thinking. There are lots of other newpapers, some of them very good probably.
