I also want to add Joseph Conrad to my fictional, fantasy party.<g>. As I have started to reread "Heart of Darkness".. Thanks again to my wonderful, conscientious and tough friend who just sent me a book of a couple of his favorite short stories..

What else can I say, except to add Joe Conrad and he reminded me of another J, Jack London, another tough, hard hitting writer of the turn of the last century, which only turns out pasty, dough-boys like, C. Hitchens..
