...Lieberman...didn't help Gore did he? You have a short memory. Lieberman's selection was the most stunning and positive development that came out of the Democratic convention. Given Lieberman's prior criticism of Clinton's personal excesses, the selection of Lieberman by Gore was a stroke of genius and represented a clean break with the Clinton baggage. Thank God that Gore remained ambivalent about Clinton and never got out from under his shadow. I have to agree with you that Cheney cleaned Lieberman's clock.
