However, I'd say the way we got TO Iraq was a little questionable, and will color our "successes" there. We still have Afghanistan on our plate, and haven't "succeeded" there yet. The path to war on Iraq shames the world community who put their narrow economic and security interests above eliminating a tyranical supporter of terrorism who refused to honor a ceasefire treaty calling on him to give up his WMD. The shame is on France, Russia and China not the US. What I mean is the 'anti-war' movement has offered unserious manipulative arguments, unsupported by facts, involving frequent lies. The 'anti-war' movement is as guilty of fuzzy thinking, lying and manipulation about Iraq as Johnson was about Vietnam. They will be held to account, the same way Johnson was held to account. Democracy is a great thing. Paul
