Kerry would have at least gotten Gore NH. That alone would have won it. Graham would have gotten Florida. If Gore had used Clinton he could have taken Arkansas. Gore should have also spent more time in Tennessee and played his good ole boy card. Never did. And Lieberman didn't bring him a single electoral vote.

All Monday morning quarterbacking now but you cant beat Republicans lie Bush by taking the high road and trying to run a polite campaign. Gore lost because he didn't fight hard enough.

Kerry is no typical liberal. He's very strong on Bush's top issues, military, counter-terrorism and foreign policy. In fact Kerry blows Bush out of the water on all three not just intellectually but in terms of his personal macho quotient which is worth a lot in an election. Dont expect Kerry to play nice and take the high road. He's going to get down in the dirt with Bush and defeat him in "hand to hand combat". And he wont let Bush get away with all his phoyn feel-good slogans. He'll expose Bush, ther real Bush.

You're naive if you try to portray Kerry as some sort of peacenik liberal. He's anything but these days. In terms of strengthening America he's head and shoulders above Bush. Bush can push the buttons for war, but he doesn't do diplomacy. His black and white narrow-minded view of the world has us in a quagmire, despite the quick defeat of Saddam's forces. The only ones he's done anything for are big oil companies and defense contractors. That's not nearly enough to propel an economy or win a national election.
