RE: "How much of this gain was from buying SVGI?"

I addressed this in a post on the ASML thread.

RE: "Do you have any price/valuation targets for ASML like you do AMAT where you will unwind your long positions?"

I should, but I don't, now. Most of my ASML came from the SVGI purchase. I had reduced my SVGI holdings to almost zero cost, but that was not nearly as good as the big profit sales on AMAT, KLAC, LRCX, NVLS, and ASYT. In any case, I have not been following them as long or as closely. I am very impressed with them "qualitatively." I will put my nose to the grindstone, quantitatively, when (if?<g>) the recovery starts. I have been watching industry annual unit tool sales for a long time. I will be able to compute revenue targets from average sales prices and expected market share and use after tax margin to get EPS. I agree with your "European" concerns, but this is a means to get diversification and participation in the EU economic community which has been touted as the future equal of the US market.
