>>Allen let's compare the recent D war to the current R war.<<

Ron -

What's the purpose of comparing the conflict Kosovo with the war in Iraq? Why does this have to become a Democrat vs. Republican issue?

I'm not sure who you're arguing with. I have never claimed to be opposed to violence in all cases.

Nonetheless, I must disagree with you on a couple of your points.

Your claim that "the left in this country has killed over one hundred thousand people to advance the socialist agenda" is ridiculous.

While it is true that some of the protests against the war in Iraq were organized by socialist groups, the idea that somehow the people in the peace movement are somehow wittingly or unwittingly involved in a conspiracy to bring down our government is just wrong. Why do people buy into that kind of fear-mongering hype?

The vast majority of the people who attended those demonstrations were there for one purpose - to voice opposition to the war. There is no reason to believe that their views on other issues would be identical.

If the NRA sponsored a rally in support of clean air, and I attended it, would you assume that I and everyone else who attended the rally also supported all the other aspects of the NRA's agenda?

By the way, just for the record, the action in Kosovo was undertaken by NATO. It was not part of an agenda pushed by the Clinton administration.
