A classic statement by a true enemy of the US Constitution. True patriots know that a price of freedom is periodic submission to the will of our leaders—especially when the liberties granted us by the Constitution are at stake. Submission to the will of our leaders? Should I repeat that in German so it sounds better? How about Arbeit Macht Frei? Precisely why Ben Franklin said that the man who sacrifices liberty for safety deserves neither. It always saddens me to see brave men and women fighting overseas to defend America and its ideals while Joe McCarthy wannabes like this are trying to squelch our basic civil liberties at home. Shame on him.
