Well, if we depart Germany its a good thing so far as I am concerned. Although I dont think the savings will be great as it is my understanding the German Govt pays the expenses of maintaining our troops there. We no longer have a need that I can see to be there, other than to provide good duty for our stationed troops. If we got to be in Europe at all, outside of GB seems to me Spain would be more strategically located in relation to the middle East. Best place of all to me would be Iraq but I guess that wont fly with those Arabs. jdn
