Well, you certainly aren't a moderate, IMO. Re-posting Goering's undistinguished analysis fairly well proves it. There is a grand difference between say, Democracy(as we know it), and a fascist dictatorship. But he didn't address that reality in the quoted, now did he? That's something that is certainly worth considering, no?
We have destroyed weapons, not further weaponized the world. Certainly that's true in this war, right?
We helped kurds wipe out one grand terrorists outpost in northern Iraq, did we not? And you choose to re-post the thought that this war is not about terrorism?
The "effectiveness of terrorist methods" is exactly why we've taken action in Afghanistan and Iraq. If left unchecked this "effectiveness" would obviously continue unabated, and the better world our country represents to moderate masses the world over could be destroyed.
In point of fact liberating the Iraqi people is a great benefit(no "may" about it, LOL. What, the writer isn't sure yet?), and as it is a plain result of this war, this war is clearly "about" liberation in grand part, despite the writers incongruous sure-footed denial.
It is the freedom within our system which guarantees our success - our "economic supremacy" if you will - not a military that would use its might to plunder others for our economic gain. We simply are not following that course which military history says is doomed to failure.
These are moderate thoughts, IMO.
