Geeze, Doc...How long were the LA riots, and the Detroit riots??? How many police had to take care of those events? Yes, it is terrible about the museum. But then, at this moment, we don't know where the Museum Director and staff are, and what they did about ensuring the safety of these items before the war. They surely had ample warning. 6 immediate months, or 12 years....any way you count. I hated what the Taliban did to the Buddha's too....Did you say anything then? I did. If you care to look back in SI history, several of us mentioned that.... BTW, go back and look at your post....EVERY time anyone has a BUT after a positive, we know what the person really thinks.... There is no exception. You are trying to find fault with the Administration on anything possible.
