<Heard several reporters and commentators in today's news, openly advocating torture, to extract info from the captured weapons scientist. First we set up Guantanamo, then we complain about how American prisoners are treated, then we talk about torturing scientists. And then, we wonder why foreigners don't trust us to rule the planet. > Hey Jacob, I trust y'all to rule the world. They'll only torture the bad guys, not me. I'll wear a little yellow star or something so you know I'm a good guy. It didn't take long to start getting a taste for what torture might do to rid the planet of undesirables if some are already advocating fingernail pulling, or is it only to be some face-slappy? Which at least would be fun for the person doing it, even if the person being smacked around didn't feel like talking as a result. Tough guys are really tough against civilians, mouthy broads and prisoners, or enemies with pop-guns for self-defence. Face-slappy is traditional for tough guys to show their prisoners who is in charge. Mqurice
