Wrong. The USA has no germ weapons. The weapons were destroyed decades ago. You are confusing research with weapons. It is OK by treaties to experiment with germs since it is the only way to develop the defenses for the germs. Knowing how germs are weaponized is important to defend yourself. Having some germs on hand is OK as long as they are not weaponized. For example, the CDC in Atlanta keeps a small sample of smallpox in a freezer. That is known and OK. It is not a smallpox weapon. The military also developed nasty germ technology decades ago, such as weaponizing anthrax. That technology will not go away. That is OK. We destroyed the weapons. It is like a gun. I may know how to use one, or make one or buy one. That does not make me a gun owner. Please do not libel the USA. Spreading lies is not patriotic.
