Did he have such aspiration or the sole aim was to stir the pot ? He definitely awakened a sleeping giant but it may be what he wanted to do. I believe most people on this planet(and I believe every Americans) knows that USA won't be deterred by terrorist attack and changes its Middle East policy(may get tougher instead) and Bin Laden can't be so dumb to think otherwise.
