Given time, money and keeping in the hands of maximum ten guys, here is how I would have done:

Number of casualties to have impact but not total carnage, like attacking at peak hours.

Rehearsal several times akin to a landing in the moon using zero failure tolerance. Only after several rehersals withou failure until it become a natural ands simple operation the go ahead is given.

1) Timing device release sleeping gas into the ventilation system. Pilot, crew and passengers go to sleep.

2) Remote control enter the coordinates of the target towers, and the rest is automatic.

3) Messages between aircraft and control towers by a group on the ground using the freq. usde by the planes.

4) Some phone calls using the phone numbers of the passengers on board.

5) Tapes of Arab looking passengers fed into the system at Logan airport.

6) Names of Arabs all fake.

7) Deploy and detonate detonate explosives and implode the buildings -for pyroitechnical effects (as we do with old buildings for demolition. Clean drop to ground level without any side effect.
