ADVISORY/DVD on the Mac Debuts at MACWORLD
--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
WHAT: E4 (Elecede Technologies, Inc.) will demonstrate the first,
fully functional DVD solution for the Mac OS next week at the
MACWORLD Expo in Boston. E4's CoolDVD board, which will be
featured in Apple's booth throughout the show, is currently
being readied as a DVD-ROM upgrade kit for the retail market.
The CoolDVD upgrade kit costs $499 and is scheduled to ship
in late September. It features support for MPEG II and AC/3
decoding, along with full copy protection decryption and a
custom DVD navigator. The kit also includes a DVD-ROM drive,
in addition to the E4 CoolDVD decoder board, and is compatible
with both PC and Macintosh operating systems.
