Terrorism and support for terrorism is a direct and proximate threat to stability in the ME, a vital US interest and to the safety of those Americans abroad and at home. Therefore, removal of this regime which sponsored, trained, harbored and financed terrorism was a legitimate act of self defense and clearly not in violation of international law.
