Interestingly you seemed to have changed the subject a few times in this discussion. This began by your asking "why is Israel an ally?". Then you went to Arab hatred for the US. And, finally, throw French disaffection with the war into the discussion. I merely answered each commentary.

Another canard. The US position was never in favor of waiting. Unless that was a poll limited to the screen actors gild or Martin Sheen's immediate family.

If you were simply referring to the French with that 80% position against the war then perhaps it was true at the time that article was written...who knows now, and, more importantly, who cares. Obviously my response was more in line with what the "real world" was thinking since I couldn't care less how the French feel.
