Weill Always Makes Money for His Shareholders
Monday April 14, 2:14 pm ET

You know, in all of this turmoil, in all of this craziness, I almost forgot why I liked Sandy Weill so much: In the end, he lives to make money for his shareholders.

This Citigroup (NYSE:C - News) quarter was a marvel. It was like Citigroup just passed through this Shackleton-like storm, and when Sandy took inventory, everything and everybody made it through fine. Better than fine, downright chipper.
