What do you think the odds are, of France, Germany, Turkey, cooperating with us against Syria?

Slim to none. Bashar Assad wants us to be mad at him - he wants to collect the kudos in the Arab world for the Arab Leader Who Stands Tall Against the Great Satan, now that Saddam has vacated the post.

I don't think the US will attack Syria. I think the US will just quietly send the message to Israel that it will be quite sympathetic to any anti-Hizbullah or anti-Syrian measures it might feel necessary.
