That's a very risky statement that Bush LET Al Qaida attack us. I know and believe Bush called off the FBI against his Saudi friends and the Bin Lauden family. I know Bush did not make terrorism a priority pre 9-11, nor even mention it one time. I know he didn't try to retorm the CIA or the FBI and get them working better together. But that doesn't mean Bush is to blame for 9-11. He just wasn't on the ball. But neither was Clinton. Neither was anyone except a few in the intelligence community who weren't being heard, and truly wise forward-looking leaders like Hart, Rudman and Kerry.
