People say you can't put a value on human life, but that's not true. What's more they do. Even those who say you can't, do, though they probably don't admit to themselves that they do. The value we put on people is actually quite low - it's mostly big talk and low value.

You sure did lump us all as "we" in your post.

The value of Human life:

It really is all a matter of personal perspective isn't it?

Saddam didn't (notice I typed didn't) place value on any life but his own. Neither did OBL. I don't know why they didn't, they just didn't.

I do, and my guess would be that quite a few other humans do too? Millions did when a coalition of the willing took Hitler out, but the guys on his side who only valued their existence didn't. We got as many of them as we could too.

I approve of spending my tax dollars, in even unconventional ways, on all humans who suffer at the hands of those that don't value human life.....as well as eliminating those who cause that suffering.

I'll bet if an asteroid 1 mile wide were on a collision course with earth, more people would think about the value of human life. Then again.......many might be glad that the end was near?

PS do you think I was too hard on BH?
