Oh, for heaven's sake! The troops had no idea what they would face in the cities, especially Baghdad. Boom! The looting begins. I am no military person, but I have to believe their first priority would be to secure the lives of our troops, then the lives of others. Sure, it is a tragedy that the treasures from the national museum have disappeared, but human lives are more important. IMO.
