But are those true feelings/thoughts? Or are those just feelings enabled by this weird medium? But for this medium, the kind of rage and bad behavior you see here would never occur- doesn't that make this behavior unreal, rather than real?

Language without an object might be pure thought, but once you have an audience there is an attempt at communication, even if it's only one way. I think in this medium the audience and the performer are connected in such a weird way, that aberrant behaviors often come to the fore, in a way they would never do in 3d. At any rate I've never met adults that act the way some adults here act. Maybe I just don't travel in the wrong circles, but I'd feel better believing the behavior here just isn't normal.
