Who didn't know about atrocities in Iraq? Happens in every dictatorship. You dissent, you go down, hard.

Drudge's doubling of the haircut number may seem unimportant, but it was a deliberate lie to try and connect Kerry to Clinton and his famous haircut aboard Air Force 1. It was also meant to make Kerry look elitist and effete.
A $75 haircut is no big deal, a $150 haircut is because it's just ridiculous.

Typical dirty trick of the right. Put enough of those phony stories out three it starts to tarnish a person's character before they've been able to get their message out. But the GOP has much bigger nastier ways to assassinate characters, as we know. The haircut story was just the tip of the iceberg. Luckily, Kerry has little or nothing in his past to hide. Bue even so, I expect the attack artists of the right try and invent things, twist things and do anything else they can think of to protect GW from a man who can likely beat him in a fair fight.
