Jim - I don't disagree with some of your observations, but FYI the Bell's have a great deal of fiber in addition to the silly copper. The silly copper has been around for 100 years. It's just economics until fiber replaces copper in selected areas. I hope you don't think ACNS or any CLEC is going to run fiber to you home, unless the fiber runs past your house! There are not many cities like Anaheim (sp), CA where they are partnering with companies to lay fiber optics. This is what would make America great. When installed, business will flock there.
