Former Sec. of State Lawrence Eagleburger: Bush Should Be Impeached If He Invades Syria or Iran

I was shocked Eagleburger would have made such an inept remark. Particularly after having criticized the administration prematurely before the Iraq war, only to have to later eat his words over and over. He seems to have become something of a loose cannon.

While he never ranked with the likes of Kissinger, I think these remarks put him in the same category with Warren Christopher or Madelyn Albright.

Unless there is something in the context of the quote that softens it, the remark was clearly incompetent, inappropriate, and probably harmful.
