Pete, Low volume in a mother of all bears is not unusual. "Suspicious"? Of course after all it our money we're talking about.<ggg> But if you expect everything to line up nicely so that a proper "buy" signal is given I don't think its going to happen. Sometimes you have to grit your teeth and buy. This market has been ever so slowly, water torture like crawling and grinding along. Wouldn't surprise me if we have some sort of a counter trend<g> rally. I think the probabilities are to the upside as most of the upcoming bad economic news is already discounted. Sure, huge volume on a rally would make it easier to confirm, but its really price action that we care about. Let's see how the rest of the week plays out for further clues. One other thing. What would be more surprisng right now? I think it would be a rally as the market does function to confound the most people. Best of luck. LR
