All: Some comments on the Q2 Conference call: I finally got around to listening to eht conference call and am glad I did not let it slip by. I believe Tuesday or Wed. is the last it is available. Everyone who owns IOMG should listen to it.

Some points that I think others have not mentioned:

1. The Zip drive is profitable even including the $50 rebate.

2. Jaz drives are profitable at the new price level, although the gross margin is below company average. They are about 3 months away from improving the Jaz GM to average.

3. I was impressed that Kim Edwards seemed to know most of the questioners by name.

4. Iomega has examined the current LS-120. The drive is now MORE complex than the technology was when Iomega was last involved. There is now more optical shielding. The electrical integration is at a much lower level than Zip, however that can be improved.

5. The 200Mb Zip drive is still described as being "working in the lab", but not ready for volume production. KE would only state that if needed it can be made ready in less than 24 months.

I sure hope a transcript of this call is made available somewhere.
