If you think Eagleberger is a lose cannon, test him out.......have Bush invade Syria. Well, I think there are obviously insufficient grounds for an "invasion" at this time; but that doesn't mean it is okay for a former Secretary of State to be going around shooting off his mouth like this, in effect, weakening the international view of the president's authority. Interestingly, the administration has said, from the outset, that it has no interest in taking military action in Syria. It seems to be just another case of the media running wild because the administration is using tough rhetoric (as it should be).
