OT -- QCOM

Yes you are correct. QCOM is the only strategic investment I hold. As to my take on your buying it, as always it depends on your time horizon.

For me there is only two things that will make me dump QCOM. The first is 50% drop from here, which I find very unlikely. The other is a development that will make their patents less effective (think along the lines of expiration or strong alternatives by a consortium). Barring these, I will not let go of my QCOM for at least 5-10 years.

If you are thinking short term, you just missed the $31 range a few days ago. The first resistance level is 34 and then 36. I see QCOM staying in the low to high 30s range for a while. So that is one way to play it.
