30% of people with no known contact to SARS cases do have coronavirus.

Now Uganda say they have SARS.

bottom line is you can talk about ladders and cars and aeroplanes and smoking etc... but people feel they have some control over those things and they are know them. This is still unknown, hence the fear. Normal human reaction. Many years ago I had a kidney stone attack and yes it hurt like hell, but the fear of not knowing what was causing the pain was a huge factor. I've had subsequent bouts which were more painful but easy to deal with. No apprehension. A known quantity, so the reaction is Oh crap not again instead of Oh! my God what is it ....
