Agreed and a very good post. However, Russia does have enough WMD, especially nuclear to wipe out the entire world many times over.

It is in our best interests to be friends with them. We have the power and the money to make them feel wanted. That's all they desire. They want us to call them a world power and to consult with them. They also want our money. IMO, that is a cheap price to buy them off.

As for the French, they are lower than irrelevant.
