If he (Jaffar Dhai Jaffar) cooperates, one official said, "he could tell us the whereabouts" of prohibited weapons as well as the countries or groups that supplied Iraq with weapons components and knowledge.

Jaffar led Iraq's clandestine nuclear weapons program and was one of deposed Iraqi president Saddam Hussein's three top science advisers, could provide valuable information about the status of Iraq's proscribed weapons programs. Another senior official said Jaffar is in U.S. military custody at an undisclosed location in the Gulf region.

Any bets on the countries that supplied Iraq with weapons components and knowledge?... I put my money on France and Russia. If true, it makes sense they would not support a UN sanctioned invasion.
