The question is, what will Bushies do to stay in power if it looks likes they're going to lose the election playing fairly? That is a serious question. Kerry's people are well-aware of how ruthless the Bushies are when it comes to ripping off elections. It goes back to Nixon when he tried to cheat even though he didn't need to against McGovern. One opponent the Bushies got rid of is Grey Davis. He was their biggest fear for 2004 two years ago, especially since he's a moderate and a war hero (Bronze Star). They targeted him with the energy crisis ripoffs then spent millions defaming him with disinformation TV ads paid for by Enron types, to blame him for what had happened. That worked. So now I'm sure they're thinking, what can we do to take out Kerry? Starting another war in a year or so is one option.
