Come on, John, what's all this talk about cleverness?

You gave me the idea and I expanded on it although I have to say I had a lot of fun writing that post, for which I must thank you. Also some insights.

>I am highly suspicious of those 'experts' telling me he is on the road to recovery (since i suspect their motives).

Come on, such nice guys and you don't trust them?! Even with all that sweet Iraqi loot in their pockets?!

>The only prudent actions seems to be let the collective wisdom of the markets tell us (and then don't argue with their answer).

Especially when one is effectively blind and deaf anyway.

>the signals i'm watching seem to be giving an ambiguous answer.

If it was easy, then we'd all be amongst those "experts" you mentioned earlier.

> outside of gold, what looks good to you at this point in time?

Firstly, thanks for giving me a look at those exclusive "members" charts.

Secondly, as you know, I'm out of gold so, for me, the situation is even harder --- nothing looks particularly good. In SA, the rand gets stronger every day and with it all rand hedge shares (all the best shares) and minings (including gold) come down. That's an added difficulty which you don't have.
