Texas Instruments and Intel Kick It Up
Tuesday April 15, 6:08 pm ET

By James J. Cramer,

Texas Instruments (NYSE:TXN - News) says cellphone business is up 39% year over year? Intel (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) says it sees a stronger next quarter? What the heck is happening? Where is all of that stuff going? Is that share-take? Is Intel beating AMD (NYSE:AMD - News) to a bloody pulp? Is TXN stealing business from ne'er-do-well foreigners?

I am not a big semiconductor fan, but I sure am not a short-seller of them either. These two stocks both said lots of things tonight that made me wish I owned them. I know there will be plenty of time if I want to, and neither is cheap, as you would describe cheap in the oil, defense or bank patches. But they aren't expensive either.
