You have no evidence for that claim.

Despite the fact they're the majority, they'll be treated as a minority

1 - Again no evidence.

2 - The Kurds and the Sunnis are also Muslim. You seem to be confusing "Shia" with "Muslim" Shias are followers of Islam but the two words do not mean the same thing.
