No I am not familiar with Mike Boit, but it sounds like you are so much more knowledgeable about world class runners than I am..

I have never trained formally, although I have ran for over twenty years on my own.. Just running for fun, like the Kenyans and the runners of Mexico from the high mountains.. I admire these people so much.. I always root for them

Like Pavo Nurmi, was a hero of my father and my grandparents, (being Finnish).. They just loved his "Sisu", as I do now, of all the great runners that come down from the mountains on their own..
