(NasdaqNM:NVLS - News) dropped nearly 4 percent on Tuesday after the maker of microchip production tools warned that "hysteria" over the mysterious illness known as SARS would push orders down 23 percent in the second quarter. ADVERTISEMENT Analysts, however, questioned whether Novellus was overstating the impact of the contagious disease, which has disrupted travel and tourism to Asia but has not yet stalled electronics production.
