Nothing has changed except peoples perception of the shoe market - Yesterday and today Converse and Kole productions blew up after missing their numbers and indicating a weak market - So far in the latest qtr Fila,Reebok, Nike Converse, Kole have all stumbled and people are convinced that Vans will eventually do the same. The company continues to deliver great results. It is like ownning a networking stock last january and february - it did not matter what company you owned they all got slaughtered. But remember vans should still earn close to 1.00 a share this year making it an extremely affordable stock.
