The differences between Bush's actions and Hitler's are striking and obvious. Bush liberates, Hitler conquered. The French were happy to be freed of Hitler, the Iraqi people happy to be free of SadDam. When the French were liberated, they would have rued a return to Hitler. The Iraqi people rue a return to SadDam today. In both cases America helps free a country of a tyrant. In both cases America is strikingly the opposite of and opposing tyrannical rulers. We say we don't intend Iraq to be under our control as a result of this war, and the fact that France speaks with its own voice today is strong historical evidence that we mean it. Dan B
