Nothing funny about how Kerry won his Silver Star. You try charging an enemy with a RPG pointed at you and see how you like it. Kerry also did far more that this one action, being responsible for the entire gunboat strategy to take the offensive not run away from enemy fire. That means charging hea-on into any hostile fire from the river banks, at great risk to himself and his men. However, the strategy worked. Compare this to fellow rich Yalie GW Bush and what he was doing in the late 60's, avoiding the war, drinking and partying, even going AWOL and deserting duty for a year.
