Hey, I don't know if you saw it, but last Sunday morning early, some idiot named Brent Sadler from CNN took it upon himself to drive into Tikrit. This was before anyone that speaks English and wears a uniform was in town. I saw it live; I was up late working.

He was in a car with some other "journalists" and had been waved through an enemy checkpoint on his way into town. Then he decided it was a bit too hot and turned his car around and started driving back out. This was all live.

As his car approached that same checkpoint he'd gone through on the way in, some automatic gunfire started. Brent yelled "Under attack! Under attack!", then moments later said, "We're OK", as the car sped north out of town. Another vehicle then raced up from behind them, somebody put a few pistol rounds into his car and then backed off and he and his "team of journalists" managed to escape.

Now, here's the interesting part: he then announced that his "bodyguard" had an automatic weapon and had fired it. I can't be sure, but it appeared to me while I was watching it that the guy in Brent's car was the guy that initiated the fire fight. I think I only heard one automatic weapon, and I think that was the first sound I heard, and I think Brent's buddy started it. My question, if I am correct, is: What does driving into an enemy stronghold ahead of the coalition and then opening fire while trying to get the heck back out of town have to do with "journalism"? I think this moron turned himself into a combatant. Not a good idea for Brent, CNN, or anyone else that supports this campaign, right? I wonder why nobody has brought this to the public's attention.
