To defend what is not considered civil behavior elsewhere on earth?

In my family we revered Itzhak Shamir and Menachim Begin until we found out hat they were made of.

Personally, I see little difference between Mussolini and Ariel Sharon. Mussolini wanted Ethiopia and Sharon wants Eretz Yisrael.
