No. Read the document.


Play with the words whatever way you want Paul.....the fact Russia, Germany, China and France are openly opposed gives credence to the fact that 1441 cannot be seen as an approval by the UNSC.


No. If the UNSC didn't mean serious consequences, it shouldn't have said serious consequences. There was no debate about the meaning of 'serious consequences', the diplomatic language was quite clear).

I, of course, am just as happy to imagine that UN denounced the War, argued to prevent it, actively worked to undermine US military success because it shows the UN for the silly meaningless bureaucracy that it was. On this one I get to eat my cake and kill it too.
